Le Point Commun is an exhibition and dissemination space dedicated to contemporary art.

At the rate of four to five exhibitions per season, the Point Commun welcomes emerging or confirmed artists, alternating monographic exhibitions, collective exhibitions and a residence within the framework of the Annecy Paysages festival. Painting, writing, photography, installation, video, ceramics, performance, the place questions, adapts to various practices.

Le Point Commun offers artists an environment conducive to creation and has a long-term commitment to all audiences.

Le Point Commun is located on the hill of Gevrier, in the residential district of Renoir. This district built in the mid-1980s follows on from the large housing estates of the 1970s such as Beauregard and Le Jourdil, it aims to be greener, more mixed and resolutely turned towards culture. The complex known as the Moulin de la Galette designed by the architect Richard Plottier is an illustration of this. Since 2010, the Point Commun has occupied the space of the former library, adjoining the Théâtre des Collines, the Renoir school and the leisure centre.

Le Point Commun is anchored in its territory and works with local cultural institutions but also departmental, regional and national. Le Point Commun is part of the Altitudes network, contemporary art in the Alps, which federates the structures for the dissemination of the plastic arts in the two Savoies.
