Created in 2017, Ateliers Au46 is a living place, a hive in which new visual and living forms are dreamed up and created, where new artistic languages ​​are developed. Au46 is a place self-managed by a collective of resident artists, dedicated to the visual and living arts.

Here, we offer flexible, accessible, inclusive workspaces for a dozen artists in simultaneous residence. Each year, creation and research residencies occupy the spaces, as well as presentations, exhibitions and demonstrations. Au46 wants to make possible and discover, trends, talents of the moment.

Oral and graphic performance around cartomancie, one of the components of the JM Braizat’s creative process. The artist invites the public to a drawing of cards under the influence of the Moon. It will be the major Arcana of the evening. The night star resists the darkness of the cosmos. It is the resource star of the Earth: the movements of the oceans, the fragile nature are revived and regenerated thanks to the freshness and the apparent magnitude. JM Braizat’s graphic creations and oral performances question the relationship of internal surrealism as a barrier to the overwhelming external world. Close to Buddhist philosophy, his creations are true mental landscapes guided by meditation and the relationship to the visible and internal worlds that we have in each of us. It offers the public a new vision of what constitutes us mentally: an internal world made up of several layers, layers, energies. This vision makes us less fragile, stronger.
