"La casa no existe" is a story about immigration, the meaning of home that is often fragmented and needs to be repaired. The plaster installations are a metaphor for the wounds that the journey has left behind but that need to be healed. The ropes that will be in the space are all the ties that we make and unmake during the journey, our relationships, our friends relationships, friends, colleagues, family. What if the journey is just life itself?
