Theme: the fragility of society

The final result is a kind of graphic drape of white lines on a grey and heterogeneous concrete, integrating both the site and its hydraulic nature, as well as the traces of the pre-existing ephemeral fresco.

The frescoes on the wall concern the dwellings n° 1 bis, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9 of the upper part of the Montée du Garillan, leading to the 24 chemin Saint-Barthélémy.

Works of art have seen, are seeing and will see generations of human beings pass by. Observed, criticized, what would they have to say to us if, from now on, they spoke and sent back to us the image they have of us?

With about twenty works that follow one another from the Cité internationale to the Parc de Gerland, the Berges du Rhône offer a rich and original artistic walk.

During this last evening of the exhibition of the works of JM Braizat, a performative moment will take place in the garden of the Workshops at 46. The artist invites the assembly to share with him an affusion. Fragile water gives resistance to nature, to man, to life.

"We question the sensitive and the transience of existence (material trace in clay and photos on tree leaves). Seize the present to stem the future as it is announced."
