L’Assaut de la menuiserie was created in 1995. The place is dedicated to displaying and companioning all forms of contemporary creations from regional, national and international artists. L’Assaut has a workshop area where specific and research projects can be developed. Each year, four to five exhibitions or events are programmed, in or ex situ.

L’Assaut de la menuiserie is located in a former carpentry in the heart of Saint-Étienne. This space is composed of three different areas: the exhibition space, the interior courtyard and the workshop area.
