Shivay la Multiple

Travelling through time and space, Shivay La Multiple's creations meld worlds and universes, dream and reality, the material and the digital. Her research focuses on devising and sculpting a coming-of-age story that begins in the Maroni River,
then glides along the Congo, the Senegal, and the Casamance rivers; it is carried along by the waters of the Nile to end up flowing with the currents of the Lobe River.
These multiple routes all lead to the woody fruit: the calabash. A guardian of tradition, the roundness of its shell holds water that trickles away through human hands.
