Biography
Iffra Dia joined Black-Blanc-Beur, France’s first-ever professional hop-hop dance company, and helped to drive the emergence of b-boying and build its on-stage legitimacy. Thirty years after he started out, the dancer went behind the scenes. He first devised a dance triptych, then created Passacaille (2019) with violonist Fabien Boudot. This was followed by From Scratch (2019) and the participatory project Post Danse (2021).
