Biography
Felix Baumann lives in Berlin and works internationally as a freelance dance and theatre artist. In his work, he focuses on a cross-disciplinary approach that uses the body in action as a tool to humorously portray the paradoxes and absurdities of everyday life. After gaining a master’s degree in physical theatre at the Accademia Teatro Dimitri (CH), he founded the Von B bis Z company, which produces projects at the intersection of dance, physical theatre, circus and visual arts, such as: The WARdrobe (2019), How things go (2020) and Seismic (2021-2022). For the 2020-2023 period, Felix received a DISTANZEN grant from Germany’s Umbrella Association for Dance to help him develop his work.
