Set within a kind of historical frieze, a group of all ages walks in the same direction, then dances — tirelessly. True to its evocative title, Entre-Temps, the new creation by renowned choreographer Philippe Decouflé, flows, passes, repeats, and above all, transforms.

Across generations, nine dancers and one musician embark on a cyclical journey — a chronological and fantastical procession. Philippe Decouflé promises a show that’s simple to watch, because it’s simple in principle: a continuous crossing of the stage, always moving in the same direction, like the hands of a clock. But since everything that repeats also transforms, the group evolves with countless variations on each passage. A tribute to the beauty of movement — whether minute or monumental — every style finds its place on this stage, reminiscent of a lively dance hall. With playful, swaying nods, the choreographer — well known since he directed the opening ceremony of the 1992 Winter Olympics — salutes the artists who have crossed his path over the years. Entre-Temps celebrates the layering of days and nights as much as it does a sense of gentle nostalgia.
