Embark on a journey along the rivers. "Quand l'eau s'en mêle", a group exhibition that invites us to rethink our relationship with rivers, these vital elements that we must protect to safeguard the future of generations to come.
An artistic residency For three weeks, from 25th of September to 13th of October, resident artists from different disciplines will come together to explore their perceptions of rivers. They will exchange ideas, they will collaborate and will create individual and collective artworks inspired by these powerful and fascinating waterways.
An exhibition trail From 16th of October to 2nd of November, the artworks created by the artists will come to life in a scenography that follows the movement of a river. Let immerse yourself on this eventful journey and discover the many faces of the living world related to rivers.
Several techniques to capture the essence of rivers Painting, drawing, photography, mosaics, kirigami, installations... Artists will be using a wide range of techniques to capture the very essence of rivers, their beauty, their dangers and the human stories around them.
The exhibition will also explore the themes of migration, forced journeys and shattered hopes, as well as the dreams realised by those who have braved the waves.
