Visit in partnership with La BF15/Nomade Land Creation: Claude Kovatchévitch Departure point: Clos Jouve End of walk: Parc de la Cerisaie, rue Chazières entrance
Facing the landscape of the Saône valley and the Lyonnais mountains in the distance, Parc de la Cerisaie is a veritable open-air museum of the art of the 1980s. It houses seven works by major artists from the second Symposium de Sculptures, inaugurated on 27 June 1980, a series from the third International Street Art Biennial, held in Lyon in 1982, as well as commissions for restructured sites. All thirteen of these works have undergone a meticulous restoration policy, opening the way to the major questions raised by art in the public space, and in particular that of landscape.
