Almost a year has passed since the artists first moved into the studios at the Art Center, crossing paths in the corridors or chatting over coffee. The time has come for these studio murmurs to come together in a chorus of voices that will resonate in the Art Center.
Over the past few months, the artists and CAP’s team have been busy transforming the production space of the Art Center into a temporary exhibition space, now ready to welcome their first collective composition.
A Sort of a Song brings together the work of thirteen artists who live and work side by side on a daily basis. The exhibition becomes the place where their works converge, bringing both their point of contact and their differences. A Sort of a Song is an invitation - and an exercise - to make those practices vibrate into a collective voice.
