The director and artist Lorraine de Sagazan will hold four open sessions in her exhibition space at macLYON to meet with you. You are invited to bring her an object that will be incorporated into the work Monte di Pietà.

Born from a collaboration between Lorraine de Sagazan and Anouk Maugein and based on hundreds of testimonies, the installation Monte di Pietà (“Mount of Piety”) seeks to reveal the pain caused by injustice. It is composed of objects donated by individuals because they remind them of traumatic memories. The piece acts as a sanctuary of sorrows, where each story resists being forgotten.

During four open sessions, Lorraine de Sagazan welcomes those who wish to share stories of pain caused by injustices to come and leave an object that will later become part of the Monte di Pietà installation.

If you are unable to attend the sessions, you can contact her at the following address: installationmontedipieta@gmail.com

You can also drop off your object at the macLYON ticket office during the Lyon Biennale's opening hours.
