Pour l'exposition hors-les-murs de la galerie Valérie Delaunay sur l'invitation de Céline Melon pour Manifesta, une autre approche de la thématique évoquée par la Biennale de Lyon est proposée au travers d’une sélection d’artistes représentés par la galerie.

If the curatorship gives pride of place to what constitutes the line of the gallery, the figurative painting with the work of Barbara Navi, Olivier Masmonteil and Mohamed Lekleti, it does not forget the drawing with the work of graphite and eye shadow of Hélène Muheim or the stenciled drawings of Martine Schildge.

This proposal also honors artists who work with unusual materials such as pine thorns from the Landes of Gertrud Varailhon who realizes large installations, lava stones from which trees are born giving life to this mineral, the plaster of jars and other compositions of Yoan Béliard, the flocked sandstone of shimmering colors of Claire Lindner or the embroidery and sewing reanimating burned wood of Isabel Bisson Mauduit This exhibition is an ode to the contemplation of nature in all its fragility and vulnerability, and therefore of beauty and wonder.
