In line with a long tradition and active policy of support to professional artistic training, each year the Ècole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts of Lyon confers a number of awards and exceptional aid packages, specific to the school, to the most talented of its graduates. The Prix Hélène Linossier is one of them.
The Ensba's awards recognize and support the work of young artists and designers who count among the most promising of their class.
The prize is related to the bequest of Claudius Linossier (1893-1953), artist (Lyon), as a tribute to his wife who died in 1952.
