The Alcôve invites you to the opening of the exhibition Erosion, on November 22nd from 6pm to 10pm, in resonance with the 16th Biennial of Contemporary Art in Lyon, Manifesto of Fragility.

From fine paper to transparency, manipulable installations, constellations and agglomerates, the Alcôve's resident artists present a range of fragilities. Erosion is the manifestation of time through wear and tear and transformation, it is the fragility of all things, the fragility of the moment.

The artists will be present to welcome you and exchange with you.

Exhibition from 22 November to 4 December 2022.
Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 1pm to 7pm.

"Erosion" exhibition

Galerie L'Alcôve

Fragility is a daily occurrence for an artists' collective, such as the collective of the gallery L'Alcôve. It is the cohesion of the group that must be maintained and built upon as new projects and newcomers come along. It is the identity of the group, much more fleeting, shifting and uncertain than that of the individual, and therefore more ephemeral. It is also the capacity of the collective to set its objectives for a common project, as for a photograph testifying to the fragility of the moment.
