A major exhibition, between installation, sculpture and architecture.
For his "carte blanche" at Tournon castle , the artist from Lyon, Mengzhi Zheng, has created an exhibition with the poetic title, Flatten the Sky.
First present on the artistic scene for his abandoned models, similar to fragile mikados or architectural dreams, he developed his plastic approach around issues related to space.
During a stroll through shapes and colors, the visitor discovers an exhibition punctuated by oppositions. Through volume drawings and flattened volumes, the artist invites us to navigate through the rooms of the Château-museum while playing with the constraints offered by these places.
