Art Exhibition of Christine Laquet at the GAC (Groupe Art Contemporain) and at the domaine de Varagnes (fondation Marc Seguin pour l'innovation)

The works of Christine Laquet unfold in an imaginary world with multiple scales and ramifications that criss-cross the depths of the ground as much as of the sky. The artist thus envisages possible futures by broadening our sensibilities by focusing on the dimensions of geo-, bio- and exo- and by creating a link with the non-human. For her exhibition UN LIEN, UN VISIBLE, Christine Laquet pushes the limits of perception through the use of technologies that increase human vision and give us access to the invisible to reveal not so much the real as the surreal. It is inspired by the Ardèche environment that the artist focuses on contemporary changes and his works borrow here as much from natural history as from the inventions and particularities of this territory from the 19th century to the present day.
