Fragility can be inscribed in a form of proclamation, claim or exaltation in the idea that what hurts us is also our open door to the world and its questioning bias towards us.
If we are vulnerable, some would say 'overly sensitive', we are both receptive to a form of invasion that undermines the individual character of the person and the crucibles where the alchemy operates. We therefore prefer the term 'hypersensitive'. In return, the meaning of art consists in externalizing this throbbing call of the world, this initially uncomfortable intrusion, to question it and show it the full extent of its action and, sometimes, of its blind march.
The artist becomes the photographic negative, the photo itself, in the ordeal of the transfiguration that his art allows him. He is a Hermes, a messenger of unveiling who underlines the charges of our contemporaneity against people, who adapt and transcend the difficulty to better overcome them in a catharsis, when a certain chaos reigns.
